  MACHINE DEAD

  1. Is the machine plugged in and is the socket switched on?
  2. Is the machine switched on?
  3. Has a programme been selected?
  4. Is the water tap open?
  5. Has the door been closed properly?
  6. Is the filter on the water intake and dishwasher clogged?

  NORMAL OPERATING SOUNDS

  1. Some water noise is normal since water is vigorously circulated for a good washing action.
  2. Timer does make a clicking noise whilst progressing (not electronic models).

  NOT WASHING CLEAN

  1. Is the recommended detergent for automatic dishwashers being used?
  2. Is the spray arm spinning freely?
  3. Are the holes in the spray arms blocked with dirt or grains of rice?
  4. Is the filter at the bottom of the tub clean?
  5. Check that excessive food and bones are scrapped from the plate prior to loading into the dishwasher.
  6. Use pre-wash cycle.
  7. Do not overload the baskets in excess of their capacity.
  8. If you are using powder detergents, do not store them in humid places after you open their boxes. Keep them in a closed container, if possible. For easeof- storing, we recommend you to use tablet detergents.
  9. If you are using powder detergents, adjust the amount of detergent according to the soiling degree of your dishes and/or program definitions.
  10. Increase rinse aid setting or add rinse aid into rinse aid compartment.
  11. Always ensure that the detergent compartment lid is closed tightly after every detergent filling process.

  NOT DRYING DISHES

  1. Not completed the cycle. How long did the program run for - see manual under program selection table
  2. Dishes dry - base of machine still wet - Is the rinse aid full ? Are you using rince aid or a 3 in one tablet ? For best results we recommend rinse aid
  3. Increase rinse aid setting or add rinse aid into rinse aid compartment.
  4. Do not unload your dishwasher right after washing process is completed. Slightly open the door and wait for evacuation of the inside steam for a while. Unload the dishes after the pieces cool down to a touchable level. Start unloading process from the lower basket.
  5. For products with program selecting feature, choose a longer program that washes in higher temperatures.
  6. Load dishes as prescribed.
  7. Adjust the amount of rinse aid.
  8. Choose a longer programme that washes at a higher temperature.
  9. Leave the dishwasher door slightly ajar at the end of the programme and allow the dishes to cool for at least 15 minutes before unloading.
  10. Start unloading from the lower basket.

  SPOTS ON DISHES

  1. Check the rinse aid level - too much detergent is being used

  ELECTRONIC DISHWASHERS - PROGRAMME LIGHT ON MACHINE NOT WORKING

  1. Machine cycle terminated before the end indicator light had come on. Machine must be re-set as follows:
    1. Select programme No. 2.
    2. While main switch is off, press and hold the start button in, then switch the main switch on.
    3. Continue to hold the start button for 5 seconds, until all the indicator lights come on, then release the button and immediately press it again.
    4. After 30 seconds, switch machine off. The machine is now re-set.
    5. Select desired programme as normal.

  TEA, COFFEE AND LIPSTICK STAINS

  1. For products with program selecting feature, choose a longer program that washes in higher temperatures.
  2. If you are using powder detergents, do not store them in humid places after you open their boxes. Keep them in a closed container, if possible. For ease-of-storing, we recommend you to use tablet detergents.
  3. Silverware or kitchenware with corrupted surface quality should not be washed in dishwashers.
  4. Choose a longer programme that washes at a higher temperature.
  5. Adjust the amount of detergent.
  6. We recommend you use tablet detergents as these are less affected by humidity during storage.
  7. Do not wash silverware with a heavily textured surface in the dishwasher

  LIME STAINS, HAZY LOOK

  1. Increase rinse aid setting or add rinse aid into rinse aid compartment.
  2. In products equipped with water softening setting, water softening should be properly set in accordance with the hardness of the supply water. Add salt into the salt container, if necessary.
  3. Use the supplied salt funnel while filling in softening salt. Make sure that the salt box cover is tightly closed after finishing the filling process. Run a washing program to clean up the salts spilled in the machine. Recheck the salt box cover after the program is completed.
  4. Increase the amount of rinse aid.
  5. Water requires more softening . Add more salt.

  HAZY, MILKY- DISH LOOK AND BLUISH / RAINBOW COLOR APPEARANCE IN GLASSWARE WHEN THEY ARE HOLD AGAINST LIGHT

  1. In products equipped with water softening setting, water softening should be properly set in accordance with the hardness of the supply water. If your supply water is soft (<5dH), do not use salt. For products with program selecting feature, choose programs that wash in higher temperatures (e.g. 60-65 Deg C).

  SCRATCH / BREAK IN GLASSWARE

  1. Kitchenware that contains aluminum should not be washed in dishwashers.
  2. Use the supplied salt funnel while filling in softening salt. Make sure that the salt box cover is tightly closed after finishing the filling process. Run a washing program to clean up the salts spilled in the machine. Recheck the salt box cover after the program is completed.
  3. In products equipped with water softening setting, water softening should be properly set in accordance with the hardness of the supply water. Add salt into the salt container, if necessary.
  4. If you are using powder detergents, do not store them in humid places after you open their boxes. Keep them in a closed container, if possible. For ease of - storing, we recommend you to use tablet detergents.
  5. In order to avoid scratches and breaks in glasses and other glass tableware because of collision with each other during washing process arising from their placement, do not overload the baskets in excess of their capacity.
  6. Add salt.
  7. Ensure there is no salt leakage. Clean up any spilt or residual salt and tighten the container.
  8. Do not overload baskets.
  9. Do not allow glasses to touch.

  RUSTS, BLACKENING AND CORRUPTION OF SURFACE

  1. Salt may cause oxidation on metal surfaces. Use the supplied salt funnel while filling in softening salt. Make sure that the salt box cover is tightly closed after finishing the filling process. Run a washing program to clean up the salts spilled in the machine. Recheck the salt box cover after the program is completed.
  2. Check if your dishwasher is connected to the actual grounding line. Otherwise, the static electric created in the dishwasher may remove the protective coating on metal surfaces and cause blackening and corruption.

  DETERGENT REMAINS IN THE DETERGENT DISPENSER

  1. Make sure that the detergent dispenser is well dried prior to filling it with detergent.
  2. Take care that detergent is put shortly before start-up of washing.
  3. Ensure that the lid of detergent dispenser is not blocked by improper loaded dishes. The detergent dispenser lid should open without any block during washing.
  4. If you are using powder detergents, do not store them in humid places after you open their boxes. Keep them in a closed container, if possible. For ease of - storing, we recommend you to use tablet detergents.
  5. Take out and clean the impellers from time to time as shown in the figure.

  WATER REMAINED IN THE DISHWASHING COMPARTMENT AFTER WASHING

  1. From time to time, remove the complete filter system as shown in the manual and wash it under flowing water.
  2. Connect the drainage hose as described in the manual.
  3. A new dishwasher has a peculiar odour. It will fade out after a couple of washing.
  4. From time to time, remove the complete filter system as shown in the manual and wash it under flowing water.
  5. If you are not going to run your dishwasher immediately, load the dishes into your machine after scraping the excessive soil on them and do not tightly close the door of the machine. Every other day, perform washing without detergent in the shortest program for products with program selecting feature.

  WATER REMAINED IN THE DISHWASHING COMPARTMENT AFTER WASHING

  1. From time to time, remove the complete filter system as shown in the manual and wash it under flowing water.
  2. Connect the drainage hose as described in the manual.
  3. A new dishwasher has a peculiar odour. It will fade out after a couple of washing.
  4. From time to time, remove the complete filter system as shown in the manual and wash it under flowing water.

  EXCESSIVE FOAM

  1. Hand-wash detergents do not contain antifoam. There is no need to handwash the dishes with detergent before loading the dishes into the machine. Scraping the coarse soil on the surfaces with a tissue paper or fork will be sufficient.
  2. Take care that rinse aid is not spilled in the machine when you are filling it. Clean any spilled amount with the help of a tissue paper/towel.
  3. Rinse aid compartment should always be closed as shown in the manual after it is filled with rinse aid.
  4. Loading hand washed dishes into the machine can cause excessive foaming as the residual dishwashing liquid remaining on the dishes does not contain an antifoaming agent.
  5. Ensure the rinse aid compartment is closed and no rinse aid has been spilt in the machine.

  ERASING OF DECORATIONS

  1. Decorated glasses and decorated lustre porcelains are not suitable for dishwasher washing. Manufacturers of glassware and porcelain tableware items do not recommend washing these items in the dishwashers either.

  MACHINE DOES NOT START

  1. Use a lesser dosage of detergent if the ECO Wash 20 or Quick Wash programmes are used frequently. Ensure that you do not overdose with detergent as the ECO Wash 20 and Quick wash programmes may not dissolve all the detergent.
  2. Power cable is unplugged.Check if the power cable plug is securely plugged in.
  3. Fuse is blown. Check the fuses in your house or for a tripped circuit breaker.
  4. Test the wall socket for power using another appliance.
  5. Inspect the electrical cord for damage.
  6. Eliminate the use of an extension cord, if any is being used.
  7. Water is cut off. Make sure that the water inlet tap is open.
  8. Door of the dishwasher is open. Make sure that you have closed the door of the dishwasher.
  9. On / Off button is not pressed. Make sure that you have turned the dishwasher on by pressing the On / Off button.

  DISHES NOT CLEANED PROPERLY

  1. Load dishes as prescribed.
  2. Choose a longer programme that washes at a higher temperature.
  3. Ensure spray arms are clean and rotate freely.
  4. Clean filters as prescribed.
  5. Do not overload baskets.
  6. Adjust the amount of detergent.
  7. We recommend you use tablet detergents as these are less affected by humidity during storage.
  8. Adjust the amount of rinse aid.
  9. Ensure that the lid of the detergent dispenser is closed properly.

  DISHES NOT DRIED PROPERLY

  1. Load dishes as prescribed.
  2. Adjust the amount of rinse aid.
  3. Choose a longer programme that washes at a higher temperature.
  4. Leave the dishwasher door slightly ajar at the end of the programme and allow the dishes to cool for at least 15 minutes before unloading.
  5. Start unloading from the lower basket.

  BLACKENING OF SURFACES

  1. Salt can cause oxdisation of metal surfaces. Use the supplied salt funnel when filling the salt container. Ensure that the salt container is properly closed. Run a programme to flush any spilt salt away. Check if the salt container is still tightly sealed after washing.
  2. Check that the dishwasher is properly earthed. Static electricity could remove the protective coating on metal surfaces.

  RAINBOW / BLUEISH BLUSHING ON GLASSWARE

  1. Decrease the amount of rinse aid.
  2. If your supply water is soft (<5dH) do not use salt.
  3. Choose a longer programme that washes at a higher temperature.

  UNUSED DETERGENT LEFT IN DISPENSER

  1. Ensure that the dispenser is dry when filling it with detergent.
  2. Ensure that the dispenser lid is properly closed before closing the door.
  3. We recommend you use tablet detergents as these are less affected by humidity during storage.
  4. Clean spray arm nozzles.
