This recipe is a fast, tasty and easy way to get you and your family’s necessary fruit and veg servings in for the day.
The most essential tool you’ll need to get a quick, creamy texture is a good blender. 1 banana, chopped
1 kiwi fruit, thinly sliced
1 celery stalk, sliced
25g baby spinach leaves, washed
5ml spirulina powder
5ml lime juice
5ml honey, optional
50ml cold water
4 ice cubes
Blend all the fruits, vegetables, water and ice cubes inside the personal blender until smooth and creamy.
Serve as a nutritious snack in between meals or sip on it as the perfect morning refresher.
For a thinner consistency load the blender in the following order: liquids first, then soft fruits or vegetables, greens, and frozen ingredients/ ice on top.
