Terms and Conditions – Free Washing Machine Descaling Campaign

 

 

1. Eligibility
 

1.1 This Promotion is available only to customers who book a chargeable service call (R690) with the Company.

1.2 The booked service call must relate to out-of-warranty Defy appliances.
 

1.3 The Promotion is only open to Defy front-loading and top loading washing machines for the descaling service.

1.4 Commercial or industrial appliances, or appliances used commercially are expressly excluded from this Promotion.
 

1.5 This promotion shall commence on the 22nd of October till the 31st of December.

 

2. Scope of the Offer
 

2.1 Customers who qualify under clause 1 will receive one complimentary washing machine descaling service during the same visit as the chargeable service call.

2.2 The complimentary descaling is only available for Defy Front loaders and Top Loaders, provided it is located at the same premises as the appliance being serviced.

2.3 The Promotion is limited to one washing machine descaling per service call, regardless of the number of appliances serviced.

2.4 The complimentary descaling service is offered nationwide, subject to technician availability.

 

3. Exclusions and Limitations
 

3.1 This Promotion does not apply to:

a. Warranty-related service calls;

b. Free-of-charge visits or assessments;

c. Non-chargeable inspections.

3.2 The complimentary descaling service does not include repairs, spare parts, replacement components, or additional labour beyond the descaling process itself.

3.3 The Promotion cannot be exchanged for cash, credit, or any alternative service. 3.4 The Promotion is non-transferable and must be redeemed during the scheduled service call.

 

4. Booking and Availability
 

4.1 All service bookings must be made through the Company’s official channels, including its customer care line, website, or WhatsApp line.

4.2 Appointments are subject to technician availability in the relevant geographic area.

4.3 The Company reserves the right to decline a booking if service coverage is not available in the requested area.

 

5. Liability
 

5.1 While reasonable care will be exercised in the provision of the descaling service, the Company accepts no responsibility for: a. Pre-existing faults, defects, or damage to the washing machine or any other appliance serviced; b. Failures or damage arising from misuse, improper installation, or lack of maintenance.

5.2 The descaling service does not reinstate, extend, or create any warranty, whether express or implied, on the washing machine or other appliances serviced.

5.3 To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from participation in this Promotion.

 

6. Duration of the Promotion
 

6.1 The Promotion is valid until such time as it is amended, suspended, or withdrawn by the Company at its sole discretion.

6.2 The Company reserves the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw the Promotion at any time without prior notice.

 

7. Acceptance
 

7.1 Participation in the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms in full.
