At Defy, we don’t just build appliances, we build pathways to progress. Our Corporate Social Investment (CSI) efforts are grounded in the belief that skills development and education are key to unlocking a better future for individuals and communities across South Africa.

Through every initiative, we aim to empower people with the tools, training, and opportunities they need to thrive. Because real impact goes beyond the product, it lies in the people whose lives are changed by it.

Partnering for Progress : Franschhoek Hospitality School

One of the most powerful expressions of our CSI mission is our ongoing partnership with the Franschhoek Hospitality School, a unique institution that transforms talent into careers by offering training, mentorship, and holistic support to young South Africans who dream of working in the culinary world.

Defy proudly supports the school by equipping its state-of-the-art training kitchens with high-performance appliances and by backing programmes that nurture passion, discipline, and professional readiness. We're proud to walk alongside these students on their journey from the classroom to the culinary world.

This partnership is more than sponsorship; it’s about uplifting communities, bridging opportunity gaps, and enabling youth to break cycles of poverty through real, sustainable career development.
