Step-by-Step Guide: Installing Your Defy Washing Machine at Home

1. Unbox Carefully
   Remove all packaging and protective materials. Be sure to keep the user manual handy.
   
   
2. Remove Transit Bolts
   These bolts are used to secure the drum during transport. Use a spanner to remove them before operating the machine.
   
   
3. Choose a Level Surface
   Place your machine on a flat, sturdy surface to avoid excessive vibration or noise during operation.
   
   
4. Connect the Water Inlet Hose
   • Attach the hose to a cold water tap.
   • Ensure the rubber seal is in place to prevent leaks.
   • Tighten by hand—do not overtighten.
      
5. Position the Drain Hose Correctly
   • Do not insert it more than 15cm into the waste pipe.
   • Maintain a height between 40cm (minimum) and 100cm (maximum).
   • If your hose is too short, you can use an extension hose up to 3.2m.
      
6. Plug in and Test
   Connect to a power outlet. Run a short wash cycle (without laundry) to ensure everything is working correctly and leak-free.
